"There are no available featured products..." Why?
 

Hi guys,

I have just a couple of products in my store at the moment. Neither of which appear on the main page of the cart as a featured product.

I searched the forums (like a good lil' newbie) and verified that the following line of code is present in the welcome template.

{include file="customer/main/featured.tpl" f_products=$f_products}

I'm not even sure though how to make *any* product a "featured product" so perhaps this is my trouble?

Any thoughts on what might be the cause here?

If I was to bet I'm sure he found the solution in XC Admin under Categories Management and at the bottom where you select products as Featured Product.

I've set up a product to be a featured product through the categories section under admin, but my store still outputs "Featured Products...There are no available featured products." on the main page.

Is this a known issue?
