Additional field in product details
 

In addition to Price and List Price, I need to add the ability to input an MAP (minimum asking price) into the product description. I would like to put this input field underneath the Price and List Price fields in Product Management area. I know I've got to create a new field in the DB and lter product_modify.php, but I'm not sure where to start. Any suggestions?

Just use Extra Fields, no need to go into the DB manually. If you don't have a link to extra fields in your admin area, make sure it is turned on in the 'Modules' section.

Feeling a little stupid now....I created the extra field M.A.P. with no problems and it shows up correctly on the product ID pages. I would also like to show the MAP price on the category page. I messed around in customer/main/products.tpl with no luck. Any suggestions?
