Editing the emails sent to the customer

Can some one please tell me how to edit this text that gets sent in every email my store send out?

This appears at the bottom:
Thank you for using X-Cart shopping system

This appears in the registration email:
Dear Mr. Mark Xxxxx,

You have been registered

Also will changing this in one place change it in all the emails?

All of the e-mail templates are in the mail/ folder, or mail/html if you are using html mail. Open them up and you will see which language variables are used, which you can then edit in the languages area.

Ok, I figured this out but its not where you specified. It in there when you edit languages and there is a dropdown menu and you select mail. Its eveidentally been moved for 4.0.13.

Isn't that what I said?

Yes, the signature line that is included in many of the emails is from mail/signature.tpl and mail/html/signature.tpl

You can change your language files and/or modify that template if you wish to change the way your tag line is displayed.
