Create Profile Form ~ Billing Address
 

I'm having a small issue with the 'Create Profile' form, and wonder if someone can help.

When I register as a new customer and enter a country that does not have associated States in the billing address details (eg. New Zealand), it adds the letters "NS" to the State field. When I go to 'Submit' and save it says that NS is not recognised as a State, and comes up with an error message.

Is there a way that I can change the template so that when I enter a country that doesn't have a predetermined list of States it does not enter anything in the State field?

I presume I need to edit the /main/register_billing_address.tpl template, but am not sure which code relates to this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you turned off the States in the Countries section? There is a tickbox that says 'has states' next to each country. Untick the ones that don't.
