Category selection drop down
 

What I really need is for customers to select a category from a drop down box, then from the next drop down box you select the sub category and so on etc. This should make it a bit easier for customer to shift through the 10000 products on this store. The current store is on the version in my signature, but would consider an upgrade to get it done.

E.g. if was for printer cartridges you select HP, then select Deskjet, then Select 990cxi and it shows the cartridges available for that item. Similar to how this store does it: http://www.printerinks.com I'm sure I saw something posted on this once but all my searches have turned up no results.

Hi I see from your site (www.printerinks.com) that you have a cool drop down menu system. does this cope with cat changes? Did you develop this yourself?

That's not my store! It's just an example of the menu that I want for our store.
