Help with sub catagories in v 4.0.12

Hello
I'm use v 4.0.12. I have set the settings in General settings Appearance options Display products list in multiple columns (1-3) (leave empty to use standard format): have set to 3 have unchecked Display only featured products list in multicolumn format:. None of this has made any
difference. I have searched the forum but no one has any code that will work with my version. I think it is just a setting i'm missing. Any help would be great.
Thanks :D

Have you made any modifications to products.tpl or products_t.tpl or is this happening right out of the box?

I have tried to change them from info from the forum but didn't work right. It was just blank Not sure if it was because of a change they made with 4.0.12 or I'm just not doing it right! I know it can be done. This website is an xcart site
http://www.rapsearch.com/store/home.php?cat=99 that it was done on. Info from the forum helped this guy but the same info didn't help me. So not sure what to do at this point.

Restore your products_t.tpl and products.tpl back to their original state and see if it works then, as it should by default.

Hello I have two folders named this customer/main/product.tpl should I delete one and restore the others.
Thanks

Not product.tpl, that is the product detail page. You need to restore products.tpl and products_t.tpl.
