Image quality resize
Hi, Does anyone know how to keep the quality of the image in a fix size? My image seemed to be distorted.

In order to keep the images from degrading, make sure your thumbnail image size matches the display size you have set in X-Cart. If you want to use larger images, use a detailed image.

The thumbnails used to be the exact size but I change it because in the product.tpl the images are to large and destroys the layout. Is there a way I can use a fix image size in the product.tpl and not get it distorted? The thumbnail will stay as is.

Yes, resize your images before you upload them. If you let X-Cart resize the image, they will always appear distorted.

in /customer/main/product.tpl I change image_x=150 and image_y=150, but somehow it's still distorted. Have you guys tried using PHP GD or has anyone tried using PHP GD to manipulate image quality? There are so many images uploaded already in the site, It will take so long to edit each of them using a graphic editor. http://www.dingca.com/store/product.php?productid=16455&cat=301&page=1

Like I said, unless your images are PHYSICALLY 150x150, if you tell x-cart to force them to be that size, they will appear distorted. There are plenty of programs that will perform batch resizing of images, so editing them shouldn't be an issue.

Can you give me a link to one program or something?

Photoshop of course, or do a search on Google for "batch image resize", you'll get a ton of options. Also take a look on Download.com.
