Is it possible to search by ID number?

Is it possible to search by ID number? I mean it is assigned automatically, but when I put the ID# in the search it doesn;t find the product.

You can do it on the admin side, but why would you want to on the customer side???

Because the ID number is shown besides the title, and its kind of confusig, since its not the same as the SKU. In case a customer writes down the ID number, and then comes back in few weeks and wants to find the product by that number he won't be able to. It would be beneficial if you enter the number in the regular search area, the search would be done also through the ID numbers.

How about changing the ID number the customer sees to the sku instead? :)

Yeah, but then you only see SKU, it would be great if I can see the title and SKU, but how do I do that?
