Home.php loads super slow. . .
 

Hello All,
Using 4.0.11 (had problem in previous versions of 4 as well), and I am experiencing a problem where home.php takes forever to load. I'm talking like 1 minute before anything shows up (looks like nothing is happening), but then all of a sudden the page will pop up (so it's not a bandwidth issue).

Anyone else experience that problem? How did you fix it?

When you click on enter store is when it's really slow.

It isn't too bad from this end....I've definitely seen slower! :)

loads up fine for me. less than 2 seconds

Nice site...perhaps it's your server. Who is your hosting company? Is it a dedicated or shared server? It's not uncommon for hosting companies to overload their shared servers.

BTW, it wasn't that slow.

It's on a VPS at ServInt. None of our other sites load as slowly as that one does, and it seems like it's only that page. I think I've sped it up quite a bit by taking out some of the stuff on the main page.
