swapping thumbnail with detailed image in the product.tpl
 
Hi everyone, my maden post here,

I have been searching for this but haven't found it yet.

I've tried a few things but can only get the entire 'detailed images' box in the top product box. I just want the detailed image.

please help me and go easy on me if it has already been posted here somewhere!!

looks like a graet community you guys have got here, looking forward to becoming part of it. Also learn the word 'nutscrape' today, pisser lol!!!

Welcome to X-Cart! You might want to read the forum stickies to answer the question in your signature....we need to know what version number you have so that we can help you :)

yep that was the first thing I did, I saved the change but it still displays this?

It's version 4.0.11 a(the latest one I think)

That's a common problem with editing the signature. To get the sig to stick, you need to also enter your password on that page. The signature should then update. :D

Edit: Someone else will have to answer your question though...that one escapes me. 8)

Search for posts by deonya and you'll find what you need. You would think that with the amount of posts regarding this issue that the X-Cart team would give us more product image flexability.

The problem especially exists for LiteCommerce clients who migrate to X-Cart. Everyone assumes that the LC and XC formats are the same. Personally, I think the X-Cart image format is basically html 1.0 and lacks logic with regard to general users.

IF product has thumbnail then use it ELSE scale my higher resolution image and use the same bandwidth ... bad logic.
