Can viewers shop by Manufacturer?
 

I have a lot of people that want to shop by manufacturer, as well as browse around by category within a specific manufacturer. I don't want people to have to run a search, just want them to be able to click a link of a specific manufacturer and browse categories within the manufacturer. Is this possible (before I enter another 900 products, because I'm wondering if I should abandon this cart before I get too deep and get something else). Thanks.

No need to abandon the script as you have to remember it is simply a MySQL database. You can pretty much do anything with it as long as you have the right code.

I just made a manufactuer category on mine, and it works fine. You might still have to do some tweaking, but there's a way to do just about anything with this cart.

Well that's good to know; thanks for the info. Second question...how hard is it to do? I'm not good at all with dealing with tables in the database, in fact, I avoid it whenever possible for fear of messing it up. Is this something that can be explained relatively easy?
