Why the txt_welcome can not be changed?
I made the changes to the text field, which shows"this is a demo..."
and click the apply button. THere is no error message come back so I am assuming the change is successful, but we I go back to the store and refreshed the screen, the original message is still there. I also to the the internet options and cleaned up cache, it's still showing the old message. Anybody can help me about this? Thanks in advance. Cheers! Jeff |

Thanks for you help. I did and got a message like the followings, The compiled templates cache ("templates_c" directory) has been cleaned up. But still no improvement. Thanks Jeff |
Eeer, why is this sticky?? :?
Anyway, have you gone back into admin -> languages -> (your language) -> search for welcome and seen if it has actually gone? If it has gone from there and the templates are cleaned out, the all should be fine. |
Yes, I did!

Thanks for your help. Actually after several trials, I finally deleted the txt_welcome to see if there is any changes. Unfortunately it still shows up the default message. Now when I try to add back the txt_welcome message, I got another problem! The message was added back since the exported file shows it but it's not on the screen when I try to look for it through admin/language options. What's the problem? Any people get an idea? Cheers! Jeff |
I think you might need to contct x-crt support on this one as you have done all the correct procedure for changing that text
