Selling egoods need help please
I am selling egoods on my site and I notice that if I click add to cart twice on a product it adds it twice witch will over charge my customer. There is no reason for anyone to add the same product to there cart more then once how can I fix this.

Nothing to do really just make sure a customer doesn't click add to cart twice. I have never had a customer do that as they hit it once they see that it is added to their cart. If they do hit it twice then the customer should not compalign as it was their fault (not trying to be rude) for being that dumb as to add the same product twice.

I tested this on 4.0.10 and it was impossible to add more than one Egoods item (each item). But, I could do this with regular products. There must have been a change that allows for only 1 qty. of each Egood item. You should probably just upgrade. I do have to figure out why there is still an "Update" option for the Egoods though, especially when you can't update or do anything with it. That X-Cart for you ... they fix one thing and always miss the little details. - mike |
