Where do I put HTML code
 

Hello

I am new so bear with me on this simple question.

I want to add a small banner onto my customer homepage.

What template to I edit and where in the template do I insert the html code for th 3rd party banner.

Depends on where you want the code. If it is up top, you will want to edit head.tpl. If it is in the body of the home page, you will want to edit customer/main/welcome.tpl. Your best bet is to use webmaster mode...that will let you know exactly which template is which. Good luck!
