Extra Fields Option
 

Is there a way to have extra fields pertain only to certain categories?

So say I sell televisions and vcr's.

I would need specification fields (extra fields) for my televisions that would differ from my vcr's.

How could i do this?

Well the easy fix is to just add all the extra fields and leave the ones pertaining to tvs blank in the vcr section and vice versa. They won't show up in the product description if there is no content.

This would be a great option to add to new versions of x-cart.

Being able to add specific fields to specific categories.
