Thumbnail size limits..

In the control panel thereis an option to set the width to "xx" so that the thumbnails are kept uniform.....this is all good and dandy.....but i need to add the option to be abel to set a height too! I have alot of vertical images that slip right thru the size limitation set by the width......any ideas?

Thanks,

Tony

I too would like to know how to adjust heights on (thumbnail) images... there just doesn't seem to be any obvious option.

Actually, the answer is obvious - as provided by "GM" on this thread:

Simply set the width to "00" in general settings and the height rescales correctly.

this sets no limit to the size in relation to height...this simply displays the images in what ever the actaul pixels are....

I believe I misunderstood your first posting - it's clear now that you want to set limits purely on the height, whereas I thought you had the same problem as I whereby setting a width caused images of an irregular height to stretch badly out of scale.

Unfortunately I don't know how to explicitly contain images by height, but I'm sure if it can be done somebody on here can help.

Apologies for invading your post!
