Help Modifying the checkout pages for phone # and email
 

When I test an order, I add a product to the cart then on the next page where i select a payment method, it shows CC, Gift Certificate or Phone Ordering after phone ordering (on the same line) it shows Phone: (555) 555-5555 I would like to change this to our toll free # but cant seem to find it while trying to use the webmaster mode. Can someone help me figure this one out?

Also, when someone purchases an Gift Certificate, fills out the info etc .. if its sent via Email to the person they receive an email letting them know the # plus info on how and where to use it. I would like to modify this email and could use some help finding this as well.

Under General settings, Company Options you will see where your correct phone number should go.

As for the e-mails, all of the e-mail templates are in the Mail diretory, with a sub-directory called HTML for, you guessed it, HTML e-mails.

I checked and our number is showing up in the settings .. :(

In my directory setup, there is a mail directory but no html directory .. only four files are found in the mail directory ...

Look in your skin1/mail/ folder.

OK I found that:

it currently tells you how to redeem your gift certificate, i believe it has steps 1-6 .. where can i find this info as i want to add text to it?

In your x-cart administration, text is stored in the language area.

So click to Edit Languages, select english.

On the following page, choose email from the drop down box, and put "eml_gc_body" in the filter box.

That should bring up the text you need to edit.
