customized products.tpl with single order button
 

I have customized a site fairly heavily so that the products.tpl now has the order quantity and 'buy' button, instead of having to click through to the product.tpl. The link to an example page is: http://solidwoodpanels.com/xcart/customer/home.php?cat=4

What my client wants now, is to allow customers to fill in all of the quantity boxes and hit only ONE 'buy' button and go right to the checkout page showing all of the products they selected on the previous page. (this means one click instead of repeatedly going back to order another item).

To date, I've been able to make the mods I have done by reading posts on this list and winging it. I have no programming experience, and this seems like it might be over my head (way over).

Any thoughts on if this can even be done? If anyone out there thinks they could take care of this, let me know and we can work out something for your time.

This would really require alot of backend (.php) modifications in order to make something like this functional, I mean right now the cart is only setup to add one particular item at a time (not counting quantities or product options).

This is a good option. I like it more. Just scroll trought the products and easy put it in the basket.

Is it bugproof?? Can i use it also with more options and larger pictures (180*180)

I've got the xcart folks working on doing this customization for me right now, I would expect they'll make sure it's working fine :-)

ETA for the live cart is Jan 21
