Anyone know where i can change the logo that appears on the customer's invoice?

you need to edit the skin1/mail/html/order_invoice.tpl if you are using html e-mail

if you are using text skin1/mail/order_invoice.tpl

Question about image
 

I am having trouble locating the image to change. I found the line of code that I need to edit but how do I change the image?

src="{$ImagesDir}/companyname_small.gif"

Where is that image located.

Thank you. I was pretty sure of the location but I could only git it to work if I changed the name of the file to something different than the default.

If you are a WINDOWS-user: ctrl + refresh
When you use MACOS: apple + refresh

This to clear the cache. When you overwrite a file and upload it again your browser doesn't recognise it had changed. To clear the cache-memory of your browser and reload the page again you will see the picture is changed.
