Embedded Pages - permision problem 4.07

Want to embed a page.

Permissions problem.

skin 1 = 777
pages = 777

Actually X-Cart puts embedded pages in the skin1/pages/US directory by default (at least that was the case for me), and since that directory doesn't exist by default, it has no directory to write to and you will get that error. Try creating the US directory and changing the permissions on it. That solved the problem for me.

It has installed that directory by defaul in 4.07 at least and the US directory has 777 permissions on it.

Permission Problems v4.0.11 Also
 

I am having permission problems also and have chmod pages, US and the files to 777. No problems with static pages in root directory, but in the embedded directory, I receive "page does not exist or you are not allowed to access it" error every time. I am just trying to get one page to show up so I can move on from there.
