Hi everybody,
I am trying to generate HTML catalog in 4.0 v. but when it's done I can't access /store/catalog/index.html, I get the following error:
"The requested URL /store/customer/home.php was not found on this server."
Why is it going to /customer/home.php?
and all .html files read as following:
"<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>
<TITLE>404 Not Found</TITLE>
</HEAD><BODY>
<H1>Not Found</H1>
The requested URL /store/customer/product.php was not found on this server.

</BODY></HTML>"

does anybody have any idea what could cause the generator to error out?
please help, going insane

You have password protection on your customer front end. You need to remove that before running the html catalog script.

Is your front end passworded?

it is , but I do have anonymous checkout enabled

Do you have a pop up window that asks for a username and password when you try to access the front end? Not login passwords, it is triggered by your browser.....

nope, I don't have that pop up window
