Will MOD vendors provide 4.0.X upgrades for 4.1.X
 

Hi,
During the last couple of years, I believe I have purchased multiple MODs from most MOD vendors that post in this forum.
My questions are:

1-Will I be able to "upgrade" my 4.0.17 MODS to the latest version of the x-cart: 4.1.X MODS once this version it's stable?

2-Will I have to pay a FULL/PARTIAL fee or will it be a FREE upgrade?

Anyone else thinking the same? Any comments MOD verdors?
How about custom MODS made by x-cart for me? Will I get FREE upgrades of these MODS to the latest x-cart version?

due to the amount of changes between xcart 4.0.18 and 4.1.x i would imagine there would be some upgrade charge but this is obviously up to the individual mod authors.

We are still contemplating this, but like Shan said, it will depend on the amount of development required to port a mod - at most there will be an upgrade free - a full new purchase won't be required.

Lol, yes it's amazing how much difference an "R" can have isn't it :D

We'll be porting over our most popular add ons, any new ones will also support 4.1

There may be upgrade fees due to the sheer amount of work some of our add ons require (marketing manager for example is a huge package the equivalent of almost 60 seperate mods).

We'll only be support 4.1.X once it comes out of beta due to continual changes in iit.

I for one WOULD TOTALLY APPRECIATE a lower cost "fee" for upgrades as we HAVE LOTS OF MODS installed and would hate to not also upgrade once it's out of BETA :)

We also usually have a small upgrade fee if you have bought past the 3 months of free upgrades. Again it would also depend on the mod and how much effort it took to convert it to 4.1.x
