Head different width percentage than home?
 

Is it possible that head has a width of 100% and home 80%?
Changing the width percentage in rectangle_top.tpl resizes the
whole page, because that file is in home.tpl included.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Just set the table width to 80% in home.tpl right under the tag. That is called after the rectangle_top.tpl, so you can keep that at 100%.
