txnId field is missing or incorrect
 
I am getting this error and was wondering if anyone knows how to correct. Under the order section the Payment gateway log I am getting an error "X-Payments error (code: 1521): The txnId field is missing or incorrect." Any ideas will help... Thank you!

Jmartin, what X-Payments version do you use? This bug was fixed in v1.0.4 and we provide v1.0.5 now. You need to upgrade your X-Payments.

I am using X-Payments 1.0.4. Is there a patch I can get to resolve this issue?

jmartin, you should upgrade to v1.0.5
Upgrade with X-Payments is much easier than with X-Cart. It is a matter of file re-write mostly. See http://help.x-cart.com/index.php?title=X-Payments:Upgrading

I have a client getting this when they try to checkout with X-Payments and GC is in the cart

ORDER PROCESSING ERROR: order declined. Review your data or contact the store administrator. Reason: Internal error (The sku field is missing or incorrect).

GC are not even consider products, they don't have sku. If the GC is deleted from the cart the checkout processes ok. This has to be a bug in X-Payments. I was not able to find anything in the bug tracker and here on the forum except for this thread which is similar.

Client uses 1.0.6 so according to the above from Alex the bug should have been fixed. The X-Payments changelog has been abandoned after 1.0.2 version was released - even 1.0.6 change log stops at 1.0.2 release - why? There were no bugs or improvements foxes for 4 versions?

No that is not for PP but it is the only thread I found with close error. And yes the cart is on 4.4.5. Can you please post the patch here or any other related to this error as this is not for PP transaction

Steve, I'd better go to your HelpDesk account for exact patch for your X-Cart version. I just do not want to create mess here by posting a patch that others can try to apply on other X-Cart versions even despite exact version is specified.

This is for a client so not in my account. I believe the client has opened a ticket already. And they did have issues with PP as well

Further to this - Alex the client has opened a ticket for this and patches to be provided but they were told to first pay a fee.... This should not be happening....

Perhaps you confused providing a patch and applying a patch. The 1st doesn't require a payment while the 2nd one is a paid service.

Send me a PM with customer name and his HelpDesk account id - I'll check.

Yes I specifically told them the same thing - if they want you to apply the patch this will be paid. PM on the way. Thanks

Thanks Alex, yes I guess they got confused. It will help though if the ticket auto reply includes a line for patches provided for free but applying them cost support

just like Steve, we have the same problem. When customers place orders for GC the following error comes up:

Order declined.
Review your data or contact the store administrator.
Reason: Internal error (The sku field is missing or incorrect)

We created a ticket at QT and got an answer: Buy support subscription.....
This is a great time to discover that x-payment can't handle GC's....
QT: My patience is running out.
STOP issuing moduls and focus on creating a solid basic cart software!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please do not forget about customizations and 3rd party mods made to your X-Cart, they can be a reason for bugs, too. In this case we will need to go into your server and investigate what is wrong. If it is our bug support fees will be refunded back to you.

we have the same problem in x-cart 4.6 with X-Payments 2.2.0
X-Payments Connector API 1.2

Payment info says. Error code 1521: the txnId field is missing or incorrect.

but only for transactions which are using saved credit cards (we use Paypal Pro)
no transaction is passed to Paypal for processing.

do you have a fix for this? any suggestions on what to check?

Anton, do you use stock X-Payments connector in that X-Cart 4.6 or the most recent connector version we released recently (in august)?

We recently released updated connectors for X-Cart 4.x - see the ending part of http://blog.x-cart.com/x-payments-v2-2.html
