This would explain why MANY customers double \ tripple submit messages.
I'm worried that there are just too many updates included in this pack. I'll wait for a few weeks until all the bugs are ironed out.

On this 4.1.9 version, anyone noticed that the shipping address is no longer shown here? Is this an intended changed or a bug? Can X-cart confirm?

I to am going to stick with 4.1.8 until the bugs are worked out. My upgrade pack I tried on my test instalation said it could not pach the skin1/head.tpl. The only modification to that file is the image I show on my site. I hope that get these problems worked out and provide us with a working upgrade pack. I would hate to have to manually update all the files in this update.

Do you have any shipping methods configured? Seems like your entire top half is missing which is the shipping address with the shipping method radio buttons. No problems on my 4.1.9 upgrade

I'm with you, Duramax. I have to admit that the PayPal duplicate invoice error I mentioned above does not occur in a default installation of 4.1.9. So I messed up something in my customization and/or one or more of my mods (see signature) is causing a problem.

However, there seem to be many complaints regarding this version and I noticed that the support team posted a message that they are swamped right now. 4.1.8 has been working well for me throughout my customization/testing process so I think I will stick with it and wait for a later 4.1.x version that doesn't seem to cause so many problems.

I would like to hear from anyone who is running 4.1.9 and is using any of the BCS Engineering mods listed in my signature. If so, please let me know if you're having any luck. I've decided not to waste my time going through to check what changes I've made have caused my 4.1.9 to fail. I'm just going to plow forward with my 4.1.8 and try to go live soon. So if anyone can tell me whether these mods work properly with 4.1.9, it would be a great help to me in deciding what to look for the next time I try to upgrade.

This is expected behavior. If you modify any of the files that are later upgraded by Qualiteam, you will get a warning that it cannot be patched and you must manually apply the updates yourself. The way patch files are applied are by diffing the files. If you've modified the file, there is no way the patch diff will match and that file will be flagged as unpatchable.

This is just another reason why everyone who modifies their X-Cart should be using a version control system such as Subversion to help managing merging/applying updates.

I have been able to upgrade through every level of 4.1 with out having to manually apply a patch. Just this .9 version is causing problems.

After comparing the to head.tpl files there are two changes

Id tag line change in version, date and time

<input type="hidden" name="redirect" value="{$redirect|escape}" />

|escape was added to the line.

The only mod that I have is the xlogo.gif was changed to my logo. I don't see how the image change would stop the diff fill from being applied. Everyone must have changed the logo on there store.
