I have multi-providers setup and one of my providers wants to be able to update his products every night at 1:00am est. The issue here is they dont want to lose there product numbers due to the update and droping there db and they dont want to have multi of the same item is there a way around this?

I would love to be able to keep all my products via spreadsheet but haven't found a way around this myself. It completely renumbers all of the products. I don't see the point in having this feature besides your initial product load....

And here I thought maybe I was doing something wrong!

Well i am sorry to say after alot of research it cant be done. So i said i will take my 3 years of php exp and sql exp and 1 year of xcart exp and make my own Product import mod for x-cart once i am done i will be selling it for $10.00 a copy due to all the time spent on it. But i will give a free copy to the lady who posted in this cause i can.
