Usually X-art have been good with sticking to a schedule. So i am sure they will release before end of June.
All I can say is that we are better of waiting for a few weeks, rather than getting a version with loads of bugs.

that's the beta ... it means couple more weeks for the stable version :(

I just want the beta version at this point :) While the bugs are being worked out I can start making changes and designing site.

Beta is going to be released within a week or so. We are finalizing alpha-testing now and once we consider X-Cart v4.4 ready for beta-testing we will make it available in HelpDesk account of all existing clients.

I forgot to mention that the main reason of the delay was some new requirements from our partners and we had to change v4.4 a bit and test again. It's all should finalized within a week.

Exciting - I can't wait until the release of 4.4! I have a new site we're about to develop and I'm looking forward to developing it in 4.4 beta.

Can you provide a list of php files that 4.4 will have an effect on?

I would STRONGLY suggest that you not develop a new site in a beta release. Wait until the 'official' release at least so you will be able to apply patches/upgrades as they come out. Qualiteam doesn't typically provide upgrade kits from the beta releases to stable releases.
