sort by field dropdown/pulldown menu

is it possible to make the sort by : field with dropdown menu?

Are you talking about admin or customer side? And you want the sort by (SKU, Price, etc) as a drop-down?

Check Firetanksoftware.com, I think they had a mod like this.
