Product Options Question
 

Good evening.

Is there any way to share product options across products? I have a lot of products that use the same options over and over again and would like to avoid creating them over and over again. Thanks in advance.

This has been brought up several times, there are ways to do this but nothing easy or foolproof. The good news is that X-Cart 5 is based around this very principle. More code has gone in to product classes than anything else from what I've read. But for X-cart 4.X there are no good stock options for product classes which is ultimately what you need. Though perhaps others can weigh in on their solutions for this common problem.

Thanks. I figured as much. X-Cart has some really great features but sometimes the basics seem to be missing - especially for a product with as long a history as this one.

I think BCSE had Global Options module.

In XC 4.5.5 you can bulk edit all or certain products, then click the bulk edit checkbox to apply product options to all current products that are being modified (if that's what you're looking for).
