Remove shipping selection from checkout process

Is there a way to remove the "Shipping" selection step of the Fast Lane Checkout in X-Cart 5.4.X.X using the Crisp White theme?

We only offer one option, Free Shipping, and it seems unnecessary for our customers to have to go through the extra step of confirming the only option.

It is strange, when I set up the only shipping method to be free shipping in my dev store, with FastLaneCheckout/CrispyWhiteSkin, the customer arrives directly the choice of payment methods.

This can appear to predefined shipping methods based on the address zone. For example, you already have a saved address for the account, so it simply chooses the only available shipping method and then displayed it on the right side where the total price is shown.

In 5.4 it doesn't go directly to the payment method. Is this something that will be addressed in upcoming versions?

Could you provide a step-by-step description of the issue? Or better some screenshots.
The best option is to describe both ways, like "How it should be" and "How it is now"
