X-CART Plus - Cart Log and many more great mods... !

Hi all,

Missing out on sales ?

What happens to the abandoned shopping carts ?

What products are not selling?

Low percentages on orders !

Then I have now created a CART LOG modification which allows you to view cart contents (past and present).

Gives you product statistics, which product has been added to a cart but not purchased.

This was developed for one of my customers and he has advised it paid for itself within days.

"They identified the products which had the least sales, and then just lowered the price a little, and before they knew it. The products were selling."

It has links to orders, and products for easy update.

How it works.

It has a new menu "Cart Management" within the Admin Area, with a link for viewing and searching or carts. It also has another link for viewing and searching on products that were added to carts.

You can limit the search within the carts for:

* a product, by productid or product;
* customer name;
* date range;
* cart sales -> products purchased / not purchased

You can order by any of the above, assending or descending.

The results of the Cart Search gives you a list of carts, which you can drill into and see the products. Records all customer data, for anybody who logs in during there session. Great Marketing potential.

It is similar for the product search.

This search gives the total number of times a product has been added to added to carts. Limit by the search by products that have not been purchased, and see within seconds, what products people are interested in but not purchasing.

Reasons may be a bad product description, missing image or bad image, or the price may just be too high.

Available now at http://www.x-cart-plus.com/au/xcart/product.php?productid=13&cat=2&page=1

Installation can also be completed for a small fee.

Regards,

Garry

Too expensive! I can see something like this sell for 39.95 - I have three web sites, 100+ will add up in my case.

Let's see you work the price down a bit and then we'll talk. I think you MOD guys get a bit worked up on your prices sometimes - look at x-cart itself, it only sells for $185 then each additional copy for around $95 I think.

Cart Log - Well worth the money !

I am sorry that you feel this way.

Many unpaid hours of development went into this Addon, and I already have feedback from my customers that it was well worth the money, and that it paid for itself in a matter of days.

You cannot compare X-CART against any of my Modules, Firetank's Modules, or anybody else for that matter, X-CART have sold 1000's of copies worldwide and can afford to offer there product at a reduced rate.

If you are after multiple copies, then please contact us, as we can offer additional licenses at a reduced rate.

gary, you should know this area is for free custom mods rather then for sale ones.

could you add this post to the end of your pro help offers post and this one ill be removed

The cost of the mod should be compared to how much money you'd have to pay somebody to custom code it, not too how much x-cart charges for their cart. Surely mods save people a great deal of $$ on programming.

I'm interested in what this script uses to pull the cart information. Does it write to a new table, or pull session info, or what?

More info...

Jon,

It stores session info, customer info, product info, including the price, as well as info like the order id is sold, sold/ not sold, date, last action (added to cart / deleted from cart) and much more. I have allowed for future development as well.

If a customer logs in after the cart is started, it updates that customer info on the products already added.

In all, there is only approx (guessing) not looking at it, about 12 code line changes to existing modules.

It is really good, and a great tool, I will see if one of my customers will place some feedback on here, but do not want to mention there names due to privacy.

I have been using this mod for a few weeks and I can honestly tell you that it resulted in immediate revenue for my website. Knowing exactly what customers are considering buying is invaluable information that allows you to adjust pricing and/or shipping to complete those sales in the future. I have profited literally hundreds of dollars as a direct result of installing this mod.

Marketing - Lost Sales - Cart Logger...

Hi all,

Just to let you all know that this module, has now been successfully implemented on to 3.4.x, 3.5.x, and 4.0.x versions of x-cart.

I think this is probably a very useful mod, I currently just go through marketing manager, looking for PRODUCT ADDED.
But I beleive $108 for it is way to expensive. Considering I paid $200 for marketing manager and it contains many more features than this. If around the $30-$50 range I'd consider buying it.

Price Reduced - More Features

Price Reduced - More Features

Just to let you all know the price has been reduced, and I have implemented more features, including email function to offer customers with abandoned carts a discount coupon.
