New Major Thread on this forum?
 

Seems like all of the other threads on this forum are related to the 4 version.

It might be a good idea to start a new major thread for XCart 5 and have things like customizing, tech support etc under that one thread.

As for other topics: questions discussed there may be useful for both XC4 and XC5 users, so we think there is no need to duplicate them. Just please add your XC version to the signature to let other users answer your questions.

I understand what you are saying but you need to try to be an end user like I am. I am trying to search for a solution to a question or problem, but all I get it version 4. And most of the time the other user doesnt post their version. So the end result is this thread only. The others are all useless.

Well at first X-cart 5 had its own forum, no one used it. So they merged the X-cart 5 forum with this one, as many of the developers in this community now work on both.

I have bugs that I am posting in this thread.

The XC 4 sounds like its different so the bugs would not be the same as XC 5.

So it makes it harder to weed though what others have posted.

I will continue posting all in one thread I guess

You should post bugs here: http://bt.x-cart.com/
This way they will go directly to our maintenance engineers and they will be able to handle them quicker.

As for questions about X-Cart 5 customization, sure, keep posting them here.
