Adding a free product to cart if customer chooses>=3 products
Hi, I am trying to achieve the following:
When a customer adds >=3 items from a specific category a specific product(lets say abc) is added to cart for free! How can I achieve this? Alternatively, when a customer adds 3 products from certain category and that product abc in cart; abc becomes free. Any help will be really appreciated. Thanks and Regards, Siddharth Puri siddharth.puri@wheelandbarrow.com.au |

Sounds like some kind of Special Offers functionality from X-Cart 4. We are about to release these features for 5.4. Mostly like it will cover your current requirements.

In the nearest time. As far as I know, the module was successfully tested and about to release.

Hi, while the new feature is rolled out, I though of a way i can achieve what I need for now.
We have this special offer set up - Buy x get y where the user has to buy 4 products in total and we can select the categories the customer can buy from underneath (see image attached) Now the customer can buy 4 products from one and nothing from other. there is an OR condition here Category 1 || Category 2 If we can change it to AND condition it will solve the problem. because then they have to buy the single product that is present in Category 1 to avail the offer Where can I change the OR condition to AND therefore forcing the customer to buy from both categories. |
