Comfirmation page not showing for new customers
 

When a new customer makes a purchase, everything goes fine until the order confirmation page.

It skips the confirmation page and returns to an empty cart.

Everything is saved but the customer gets not confirmation that the sale was successful.

Any ideas as how to fix this?

I have just reported this problem to the team. It will be fixed in 5.2.4, which will come out in ~3 weeks.
