HELPP!! with download expander
 

Ok all as I have said many times , I am very new to this ,I purchased Downloadexpander and I am not having any luck, I installed it ,i think , im sure i F!#!#@$ it up somewhere ,been sitting in front of this screen staring at it and I have no clue
I purchased some stuff from my store to see if links come up and they do but i get this error

Also inside my admin under modules I dont see download expander which makes me believe I messed it up ,some one get a gun and shoot me , My hats off to you guys who know this stuff ,give me a car with some crazy driveabilty problem becuase it was struck by lightning anyday , still gonna learn this stuff even if my site doesnt work until I am 80

ok one error fixed onto another
Site error: the file /home/embroodl/public_html/modules/Download_Expander/download_functions.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.

annoyed is helping me now but doesnt hurt to post

Have you uploaded the ioncube folder to the root of your site?

Ok guys ,if anyone is able to help , I am no programmer ,I am trying my best to learn this stuff but now its easy for me to say I am way over my head. I had someone else already go over it on my server who has way more knowledge then me and he cant seem to find the problem, If any one can spare a few minutes or if the man himself Bill is around who might be able to help with this.
I purchased Download Expander and Product page downloads from Altered Cart , I tried to do the install and after looking at this monitor all last night until weeeee hours with some help of a friend theres no way I would attempt to install Product page downloads ,Im sure to botch everything up for sure and then my wife will divorce me ,well that might not be a bad thing but i cant mess up the website.

Honestly - you should pay for the install. Time is money, and wasting 5 hours trying to figure something out just to save $50 isn't worth it IMHO. Some mods are easy to install, others are well worth the install fees to get them done for you.

Not just about wasting 5 hours ,Im really trying to learn and understand that so if 5 hours of time could actually make something stick in my head it would be worth it in the long run just that this is a little more advanced for me at this time .Money is tight but more concerned about actually learning most of the time.

Sometimes 5 hours will help you...but when it comes to installing mods, there really isn't anything to be gained there as you will probably only install it once. Spend the time learning the template system, html, css and smarty - that is a much better use of your time
