DSEFU PRO can this work with Xampp
 

Hi

I have just bought this Dsefu program and it works fine on my live site, but on my home computer its says

address bar reads:

http://localhost/store/DSEFU_license.php

Site error: the file C:\xampp\htdocs\store\DSEFU_license.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_win_5.2.dll to be installed by the site administrator.

As you see I am trying to load the licence key

Not sure whether this module will run under xampp

Would be grateful for any ideas

Not sure whether this help because its talking about a php.ini I dont have that file in my store directory, that thread is talking about litecommerce are they the same

That's because some shared hosts practice the unorthodox method of reading a php.ini in a shared host's document root (which is also exceedingly dangerous). For a XAMPP install the php.ini file is located in:

\xampp\apache\bin\php.ini

Thanks for your help. In the end I had to get in touch with Xampp and they sent me a windows version of IonCube that solved the problem.

I did have to put a line in the php.ini file and all is working fine now

I am getting the exact same problem you had:

thanks for the quick response.

I have downloaded the file and copied the ioncube folder to xampp\htdocs\

I am assuming that just copying the folder across is not enough as I am still getting the same problem.

I see in your earlier post you mentioned that you had to edit the php.ini file - could you tell me how.

Hi

don't worry - got it sorted. Never noticed the ioncube-loader-helper.php file!

This identified my versions etc and showed me which line to edit.

Working great now - many thanks for your help
