make the ampersand an invalid character company name field
 

I was wondering how I make the ampersand symbol (&) an invalid character for the customer company name field. I'm having an issue where my printer will not print an order if there is an & in the company name field. It is really bizarre. So unless I go really slow printing orders from my email program to make sure each one actually prints, I miss orders because they don't go to the printer.

I can't find a fix with the printer so I figured making the & invalid might be the easiest fix for now.

You could just strip it from display on the printable invoice page. Shouldn't be too hard to do. Probably even a smarty strip tag would work.
