How to set product quantity in stock based to product color?
 

Our products have different colors: white, black, read, blue, green, yellow.

How about we set all colors first, and set a product quantity based on colors. if a color is blank, front page will not display this color.

the best advantage of this function is we can know which color is sold out. the current x-cart only set all colors' quantiy in one, very difficult for us to grasp more detailed information.

It seems you are using extra fields rather using product variants.
You can surly full-fill your needs by product options / variants
