Free Deleted Modules appear as disabled in Marketplace
During an upgrade session from 5.2.2 to 5.3.2.11, i deleted all the free modules to allow the core to upgrade properly after many missed attempts.
Now those free modules which appear in the marketplace - show up as disabled - they are not install in the cart. Tried to redeploy in case it was a cache issue with no luck. Those modules where the contact us, Webmaster Kit, gotcha, Go Social, XML sitemap,Color Schemes,TinyMCE integration,Add to Cart Popup I am able to install other modules but those remain un- re-installable and are marked as disabled in the marketplace. Also the modules search feature in the marketplace - sticks- once you do one search - the results stay the same FOREVER- its sucks. |
Re: Free Deleted Modules appear as disabled in Marketplace
Did you just delete the files? Or did you delete the modules from the backend?
I think for a faster solution you should contact our support staff - they can see what data is wrong in your XC5 database: https://secure.x-cart.com/ |
Re: Free Deleted Modules appear as disabled in Marketplace
I uninstalled them from the module menu in the admin section.
Hoping to be able to reinstall them after the upgrade. And why do show as disabled from the marketplace. |
Re: Free Deleted Modules appear as disabled in Marketplace
I tried to uninstall GoSocial module on my local 5.3.2.11 installation, and the module shows up on the Marketplace tab with the "Install" checkbox.
Please could you upload a screenshot of how it looks for you? Do you mean that you can't tick that checkbox? Or does it display some notice? |
Re: Free Deleted Modules appear as disabled in Marketplace
They were not in my cart modules area and in the market place those free modules which appeared- did so as disabled. With no install or undisable button.
Wellthen- I reloaded a back up so I am back down to 5.2.22. Now the lost modules have reappeared - Good But they are all disabled( i an re-enable them) and its say either upgrade core (those modules can not be re-enabled) and new version available. - OK But when I click in either the top orange taskbar button where it says upgrade or click on side upgrade bell icon where it says Updates are available - its say no Upgrade Available after it tries to download the supposedly available upgrades - that's Bad |
Re: Free Deleted Modules appear as disabled in Marketplace
I recently used a backed up database and cart backup- manipulated stuff and gradually got it all back working at 99% - except for the Logo Favicon page - it basically blank and I can not load my logo.
Need a fix for that. |
