X-Payment Generates multiple orders
We have Checkout One installed.
The steps are the following: 1. Login/Enter Personal Information Image Verification does not work in IE - several customers have complained. 2. Enter Credit Card information Works fine 3. Enter Shipping -When you enter shipping, it clears the credit card information -Customers have to reenter -X-Cart tracks it as an order -Re-enter credit information and shipping is ok, it is reentered as an order Getting frustrated with this upgrade because the important things seem not to work. |
Re: X-Payment Generates multiple orders
Get AC OPC and its XPayments Connector and get away from the built in XC OPC - http://www.alteredcart.com/product.php?productid=21&cat=1&page=2 - it will solve all the problems you are having

Re: X-Payment Generates multiple orders
I'm having a similar issue. As a result, mutiple orders are now being placed into Quickbooks through my OneSaaS connection. Any further on this?
Note that in my case it appears to create 2 or 3 orders at exactly the same time - the first couple FAILED. |
Re: X-Payment Generates multiple orders
I would suggest to speak with OneSaaS as their connector may interpret not-finished X-Cart orders as compete ones.
Also, I see you are using X-Cart 4.6.1 with X-Payments 1.x - I suggest to upgrade your X-Cart to 4.6.3 that comes with improved X-Payments connector and perhaps to upgrade your X-Payments to v2.x (see http://blog.x-cart.com/x-payments-2.0-released.html and http://blog.x-cart.com/xpayments-2.0.1-released.html) |
Re: X-Payment Generates multiple orders
G'day Ambal.
I've upgraded to 4.6.3 - seems the multiple orders thing isn't happening now (although only had 1 order since the upgrade). I presume there was a bug with X-Cart that has been fixed. Thanks for your response. |
Re: X-Payment Generates multiple orders
Great! I am glad my advice did help, but 1 order is not enough and you should keep monitoring for a while in case of an incomplete upgrade. In my experience with helping X-Cart merchants who use X-Payments incomplete upgrades are the most probable reason of various strange bugs.

Re: X-Payment Generates multiple orders
Spoke too soon unfortunately. Multiple orders. You can see in the orders page that one order will be order number 1023. Next order will be 1028.
I'm a bit disappointed as I have X-Cart do the install. At the time I noticed the numbers weren't exactly sequential, but didn't think it mattered until I tried to integrate with 3rd party apps. :( |

Re: X-Payment Generates multiple orders
:mad::mad:Actually it's more than disappointing. This multiple order thing has completed $%@&ed my accounting software which doesn't allow for transactions to be deleted.
