Hi,

I am just a newbie to x-cart and I am yet to change the colours and stuff to suit what I am after BUT my main trouble is the Newest Added Products list for x-cart mod I brought from BCS Engineering. I have finally got it to show 9 products in a 3 column row but what I am really after is for it to look like my Featured Products list. Like with the product name above the thumnail and the prices showing below.

I have searched high and low and I can't for the life of me get it right. I have contacted BCS Engineering and am yet to get a solution so I was hoping someone over here could give me a heads up.

Moving this to Third Party Add-Ons. It should be as simple as editing the template that contains that info. I'm not remembering what that template is called off the top of my head, but it should show it in the install instructions.

Ok I am still having troubles trying to modify the Newest Products template to look exactly like the Featured Products. I have even messaged BCS Engineering that many times now and have paid for them to do it but still no answer from them either so I am begging someone from over here to PLEASE give me a heads up as to what and how to change the template to have my Newest Products list to show exactly like my Featured Products list. Thanks heaps for your time :)

Has anyone at all had this same problem or know how to do it or am I barking up the wrong tree over here?

Unfortunately I haven't got the mod otherwise I'd help. If there are no settings anywhere within admin, you could then try this...

1. Wrap a DIV around the latest additions table and give it a class "additions"...

<div class="additions">
latest additions table here
</div>


2. In your main css file skin1/skin1.css add...

.additions TABLE {
width:100%;
text-align:center;
}

If you are able to add a class to the table rather than adding DIVs that would make things a little easier.

Hopefully this will give you a start but it might be best to wait for an answer.

Thanks heaps for trying and for your response too! I can't work it out at. I tried adding the DIV but I am tipping I did it in the wrong spot. I am STILL waiting for a response from BCS Engineering so hopefully they reply tonight sometime. But I am tipping not. Been 4 days now and no response. It is frustrating me. Thanks heaps again Mate for trying. :) :)

Just letting you know that I have my problem all sorted out now. I heard back from BCS and it is a goer now. Thanks heaps again for your help :D
