Ajax Product Rating System by PhilJ

Anyone Using phil's mod http://www.xcartmods.co.uk/2007/10/09/x-cart-ajax-rating-system/

If so can anyone confirm if it is compatible in html catalog? Works perfect in php but I can't get it to work in html catalog v4.1.8

Installed this mod, but is not working properly. I see that everytime some access the product it insert a record on the ratings table. Then I receive a HTTP 500 Internal Server Error.
The only way I made to work was to load the product page, add the {rating_bar id=$product.productid} to the product.tpl and the refresh the page.
I guess I will have to spen a couple of hours debugging this, however if you encounter the same error and fixed please let me know.

Thanks

Is it possible to have this mod only available to registered customers?

We have this selected on the admin menu but you can still vote on the front end without logging in.

Other than that its a great mod

Thanks

Actually I have the module disabled and added the code where I wanted to display the rating bar.

Haven't been able to make this mod to work. It works sometimes... while navigating within my catalog frequently receive internal error.
One thing I did was to insert all my products id on the ratings table, but still no luck.
Disable Seo rewriting and still no luck.
Please help!

Hi, I've integrated this with success in a test server. But it would be handy if the current ratings and the ip address were recorded under 'Edit Ratings' in Admin. This would help spot malicious or just plain bored people from adjusting a product or multiple products ratings. If it was multiple products you would be able to see the recorded ip address realise the behaviour and at least reset the ratings to give goods a sporting chance. Also it allows you to see at a relative glance which items people are happy with and which they aren't happy with. Is there a way to enable this under Admin/Edit Ratings or does it have to stay disabled? Also I would like to only allow logged on customers to rate the product but for ALL customers to see the ratings? Any ideas

I have this mod installed, it's been working great until today.

I added a bunch of products, now the entire catalog is showing a rating of 5 within the featured products on my home page, and on the product page and i am unable to rate products they just stick at the full rating.

Any idea why this is happenign?

I am having the same problem that it doesn't seem to work in my html catalog. I have e-mailed Phil and if I get an answer will post it here...
