We enabled the mega menu but where can we add style the menu and add headings (style the displayed dropdown menu content).

If using the 'custom' theme, then you can tweak these in the template settings...

I'm aware of this but thought that there is another possiblity to control the menu from the backend which I didn't know off (no clue why I thought that there is another possibility). Thanks.

You can just add WP themes in the usual way.

BUT, the provided theme has been chosen specifically, as it is Bootstrap v3 based and responsive. Other themes may not work as expected. The same applies for plugins.

Two questions.

1. In the Featured Category Addon (v2), in the notes section, you mention, "1) Go to your categories administration to make categories featured."

I have this at the top of the list showing the categories:
Pos. Category name Products* Subcategories Enabled Homepage Featured

I assume that you are refering the Homepage Featured? If so, there are no check marks to select the categories.

2. I want to change the text color for what I would call the Header Bottom Bar or Bottom bar text / hyperlinks colour. Where can I change that text color?

I would double check you've followed all install steps correctly, but before doing so, clear your template cache to see if the checkboxes appear. The SQL patch may not have applied correctly.

Can you clarify which text you mean, or post a screenshot.

The header category/speedbar text colour can be changed in your chosen theme in skin/reboot/css/themes
Eg. Blue theme...

ah - After I posted this I realized my error. In step 6 I had the 2nd set of code after the </tr> - moved it up one line and that made all the difference.

As for the menu bar, it is the one that sits below the store logo. I also noticed that there are two instances of the Home link on that bar.

Another question - easy if I go look I am sure, but I need to chance the .ico file to replace yours. Where is it?

You can remove the 'home' entry from your speedbar admin.

Icons are stored in skin/reboot/ico

On the menu colors - I am using the custom theme. I copied your code into that file and although I can change background color I am not able to change the color of the text (Up state on clickable links - Home, View Cart, Help). When I inspect the element it does refer to a "sticky-wrapper" class..?

On .ico file, which one is the default one used with v2?

Then set your colours in the reBOOT custom theme settings. It gives you a little extra control.

favicon.ico - Here's a quick icon generator

Once uploaded to skin/reboot/ico , you'll probably need to clear your browser cache to see the icon update.

Ok - I fixed the .ico problem, - Thanks!

With the new tpl code you provided, I still can't change the that drop-down menu hover, background, or text color.

And yes, I have been clearing the templates/X-Cart cache each time in the hopes that it would change.

It doesn't seem to matter what colors I pick, it doesn't stick. The weird part is that it obviously did work at one time as I ended up where I am color-wise.

Hi All,

I am having some trouble getting Wordpress to show on my homepage.
I am in version 4.63
The blog is up and working on the site.
When I follow the instructions 5a - a frame shows but the wordpress stories do not.
When I use 5b nothing shows on the homepage
I have checked the .htaccess and it is empty
I have done template cleanup, Clear templates/X-Cart cache, and regenerate image cache.

I have done this 4 times and can not find the issue.

To include a reBOOT version of a 404 page
As it currently stands, the 404 page is just the standard 'out of a box' XC error page.

You could in fact use any static page as a 404 page.

Edit /include/func/func.core.php

1. But does this player work with your repsonsive template?

2. What if we already purchased your old audio player. Is there an upgrade path?

3. Is the Disqus Bonus in relation with the Audio Player or is this simply a Disqus Mod to add Disqus to the product detail pages?

I have done something to my site so that when I log into the admin page it goes into https and the header_logo shows an error. I am trying to trackdown the bad link but do not seem to be able to find it. I tried Firefox and a site checker. No help. The SSL is current. Any direction would help.

Not sure why that would be happening, unless you have edited skin/reboot/head_admin.tpl in some way...?

Also check the 'HTTPS options' in admin/configuration.php?option=Security

Where is this happening Conor? What version reboot, what version XC, what version IE? I've looked through this thread and can't seem to find a mention of it. Can you provide a link?
