Yes I opened a ticket a few weeks ago on this one and the Xcart have passed it to the developer to fix - they gave me a timescale of 2 weeks but this was 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing since.

It is the filter types line up we have a problem with in Ultra though not the popup box.

We are trying to link a promotion box to a page but adding URL to "link" in widget_promotions.tpl does not do anything (box does not open a page on click).
any ideas what we need to check?

Phil - is it possible to exclude a category from our search? We have a section of configurable parts that are used in xconfigurator that are bundled and not for sale on their own. The search shows these items but then returns a 404.

I'm really liking Ultra. Two issues I've ran into are

#1 when a customer is checking out and they create an account, it bounces them back to the main page instead of staying inline at checkout.

#2 When a customer checks out as anonymous, no receipt is shown after successful payment is made and they have no way to login and view it.

What's the best CSS to avoid image distortion in the products list, if the thumbnails are not square?

If you are using Ultra + CDSEO & want to add whatsapp share button then you can use following code & it's working fine or me without any issue.


Above code will display share button only on small devise (mobile & tab) & will not be visible to desktop user as Whatsapp share doesn't work on desktop at the moment even though if you are login to your web whatsapp account.

Could be file permissions, or something in your .htaccess file or something else. Drop me a line and I'll take a look for you.

Ultra's just been updated for v4.7.9. reBOOT v4.7.9 will be available in 1-2 days. Meanwhile the development of reDUX goes on...

Does the standard Xcart GDRP Module work with Ultra on 4.7.7 or do we need to mod any template files? We are holding back on an update to the latest version of xcart when you release redux.

Should be, make backups. I'm not doing earlier versions, got too much on.

Always a good idea to get yourself a decent file comparison tool - KDiff - WinMerge - Beyond Compare - etc.

somehow, Ultra is resorting the products in a category. how do we disable that?

our client wants to have
* 4-Foot Compound Bow Cutter Kit
right after
* Vertical Artisans Industrial Tool Kit

and this is set with POS fields in X-cart and works with a default skin: https://hotwirefoamfactory.com/dev/Industrial-Tools/?shopkey=123

but looks like Ultra is resorting with some JS after the page is loaded.
how do we disable that resorting?

Have you updated Wordpress to the latest PHP v7.4.x compatible version? v5.3.2 is the latest. Bug tracker.

The update for Ultra to v4.7.12 is on my to-do list, I've been pre-occupied with reBOOT, which is prority at the moment. I also have client work on. Sorry for the delay.
