Changing the text in the customer invoice email?
 

I am able to change the invoice template through mail/html but I cannot change the following text within this file:

You have received this notification from Modern Automotive Performance because you are a registered user or you or some other registered user requested some information for you from our store.

Dear Mr. XXXX XXXXXXXX,

Thank you for your order made with our shopping system. You are welcome to come back !

Any idea how I could make changes to this text?

Those are all in the 'Languages' section (under your admin menu). Select english, then select e-mail. You'll see them all listed. Just edit the ones you want and save.

How do I get rid of the "Dear ," part?

Either clear the language variable, or edit the e-mail tempalte itself. All of the templates are in skin1/mail/html
