bcse engineering points module
 

I have installed the points module from BCSE engineering about a year ago. I have only just noticed that when a customer pays with points the module still applies tax before the discount is applied.

The developers have told me that this is the way it has always worked.

So if a customer pays for the whole product with points the subtotal will be zero but tax will be applied to the full product.

Has anyone else come across this and how it can be resolved.
Do you know if the X-Cart built in points module does the same.

Is your tax set to be on DST, not ST?

It is set to DST.

The module does not consider this setting.
So if a coupon code is used as well as points the tax is calculated on the DST excluding the points discount.
