Help uninstalling PHP Site Solutions XC-SEO PRO
 

Hello, i have almost a month trying to reach Jon Langevin to finish some projects on my website.
He installed for me "FREE" his XC-SEO PRO mod, but it haves some issues.

I have over a month trying to contact him and have no success.
Due this lack of responsability from Jon Langevin i'm forced to uninstall this mod, and i'd like to know if anyone can provide me with the steps for uninstalling it from my website?

Isn't there a checkbox in your admin/modules section to disable it?

Sure it's there, i'm not looking to disable, looking to complete uninstall

When you disable it, are you still having "issues", and if so what issues are you having? You could always "undo" everything in the install.txt file if you really want to get rid of it. You can also run install-xcseo.php and uninstall it that way.

This mod was installed by Jon, i have no files or documentation for install/uninstall

that's the problem.....

Has anyone sorted out how to completeley uninstall this software - since Jon has seen fit just to abandon all his customers..............................

If you have your original xcseo zip file you will have patch diff files - likely 2 of them. You can go to your x-cart admin -> Patch/Upgrade section and run the patches in reverse. You would then want to delete any files that were uploaded and ensure the new database tables were deleted (I believe the original .zip has a removal sql patch called phpss_xcseo_pro_remove.sql).
