Switching back to hosting my own images

Hello All,

Can someone please help me figure out how to get my images so I can host them. I had them on Amazon S3 and when I turned that off, I get blank images. I am on xcart 5.3.1.7

My images are still on the back end, just not showing up in my storefront.

Thanks!
Darryl

I would suggest to try to enable the module back, go to its settings page and click 'migrate images from S3'.

Thanks for response. I can't find any settings. I have looked everywhere. I turn the Amazon s3 module off and save it and it returns to blank images.

You should enable the 'Amazon S3' module back, then Amazon S3 settings page will appear.
You will be able to access it from the modules list page, click the 'Settings' button next to the module name after you enable it.

That's weird. What version is X-Cart you are using?

Re: Switching back to hosting my own images

I believe this SQL query will help you.

update xlite_product_images set storageType = 'r';

It will change the storage from S3 to local server for all images.
Make sure to run it on all tables that contain records about images.

Full list of such tables can be retrieved using the following query.

show tables like '%image%';
