API integration

Hi tony_sologubov,

Regarding the information you sent me on an API integration. i don't think it fits the purpose i wanted. i need to have an API or something lighten the load of my product updates. I get updates from different vendors with their own cvs style. I have to cut and past job for all is there something in an api that will allow me to do this without reformatting all the diffrent cvs files

Hi @bibi,

Will using the external script, taking info from dropshippers and populating DB with this data be something that suits you? Such an approach will not involve reformatting CSV into another CSV with a different structure.

Best,

Tony

Hi, Tony

I'm not sure, i don't know how this works to keep the updates going form week to week?.
I don't understand it will it do it only once and what will have to do to keep it up?

Hi @bibi,

Could you please explain how would you like your update system to work?
I would assume that you want to set up a cronjob that would call a certain script once in a while.
This script would take data from somewhere and perform the update.

Is it this what kind of task you would like to set up? Or do you mean anything different?

Thank you.

Tony
