Do you know if it is a newer version then the one they released last week? I posted earlier that there is a error in this when it comes to products with options. I informed x-cart who thanked me and said they would get my info to their design team to fix it. What it does is adds your options and then deletes the choices because after each option they have it then do ao delete command so it adds then deletes till the very end leaving you with only 1 complete option. I had to do the sql dump and manually fix the sql file to fix this problem that was contained in it. Only took 2 days of work and 5 re-installs to get it all figured out.

My post on this subject is here as well as what I did to get around this problem. As said this was with products with options.

For those who don't know. I newer version of this upgrade tool was released today August 3rd. There was a problem with the old one. I know one of the problems which I informed x-cart about wasn't doing the options correct as I posted. They said they where going to fix it so if you have had problems try re-downloading the fix and see if it works for you now.

I am still waiting for the v3.5.10->v4.0.2 migration tool before I begin genuine work on moving our site to 4.0. :wink:

All I am saying is that I don't see the need (from our perspective) to begin working on the transition until I see at least another update on 4.0.x and its migration tool. [-(

Conversion Tool 3.5.11 to 4.0.6

Will the data base tool out work for 3.5.11 to 4.0.6? Also, are there instructions how to use this tool? step by step?

There will be a 3.5.11 => 4.more.stable ;) database upgrade tool.
There will be no jump to 4.0.6 just because 4.0.6 is not a final version of 4.0.
